It’s here! Engage! Podcast is the audio podcast for Engaged Buddhism Magazine. Over the next several months and years I hope to bring you an lively discussion of the practice of engaged Buddhism with the issues that impact our world.
This episode, recorded on Sept. 21, 2016, features an interview with Dr. Swarna Weerasinghe, Ph.D., a professor of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie Univ. School of Medicine. Swarna practices Theravada Buddhism in the tradition of Sri Lanka. She is a founding member of Atlantic Theravada Buddhist Temple, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
