Ram Dass and Allen Ginsberg in Conversation

What I love about this conversation is the way Allen and Ram Das playfully use Buddhist terms, like ‘awakening’ and ‘shunyata’ when describing popular culture. They aren’t concerned about sticking to doctrinaire use of the terms within a religious context, or adhering to their scriptural origins. It’s that kind of playfulness and creativity with Buddhist ideas that I like to use in my own spiritual practice.
