Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July. Millions of people gonna die. And we all know the reason why. MAGA* took our health care away.

Millions of people cut off from basic medical care. What does that mean? Well, my partner works in a major city hospital, and probably half the patients are on Medicaid.

First, the number of patients in the hospital will drop precipitously. Some hospitals will shut down completely.
Psychiatric hospitals will be nearly empty.
There will be no drug/alcohol treatment for anyone unless you can pay.
Nursing homes will shut down.
One in 3 persons with a disability are on Medicaid. All of these people will simply die in the streets.

2. All the MAGA people who voted for Trump will not only be out of health care, or members of their family, churches, etc. But all the people who WORKED in these hospitals, rehabs, nursing homes, will be OUT OF A JOB. For starters, UMass Medical Center will cut 3,000 jobs.
3. So they no longer have health insurance provided by the employer. So what do they do? Go on Medicare?
4. No, because THERE IS NO MEDICARE for all these UNEMPLOYED people, who can’t even afford ACA.
So they will end up getting sick and dying the streets just like the rest of them.

5. The Big Beautiful Bill is a policy of GENOCIDE, what some analysts have called “soft eugenics.” You devise a policy that in a backhanded way kills off millions of people in the near term, and causes so much destitution that many more millions die as a further consequence. Thereby reducing the number of people the government has to support.
6. The unemployment rate skyrockets, people lose the ability to pay for anything, and companies go out of business.
7. Widespread depression ensues.

*MAGA includes both the Christian White Nationalists and the Billionaires they voted for.
