Mahar, Buddhist and Dalit: Religious Conversion and Sociopolitical Emancipation

For those interested in contemporary studies of Ambedkar Buddhism in India, Mahar and Dalit Buddhism, I highly recommend this study published in 2005: Mahar,, Buddhist and Dalit,: Religious conversion and sociopolitical emancipation. It is the most comprehensive study of the cultures and institutions of Ambedkar Buddhists in Maharashtra, India.
