Munisha on Buddhism, Sexuality and Identity

I’m just getting to know the Triratna Buddhist Community. I really appreciate the way that wisdom comes from the people in the sangha, and not just from the guru. Bhante Sangarakshita no doubt was absolutely central to the teachings and development of the sangha in the early days, beginning in 1968 through the 80s. But he is now 90 years old and retired, and the work of developing the wisdom and giving the teachings now rests with the people. I like what I’m hearing from the long-time members, like Munisha, and the new younger generation as well. Beyond the teachings of Sangharakshita, you can also hear the lineage of Dr. Ambedkar, the founder of the New Buddhist movement, coming through Muisha’s teaching.
