Tibetan Monks Travel from India to Ferguson, MO in Solidarity with Michael Brown

BvRT-MNIAAEJMeWThere’s no denying that what’s been unfolding in the Missouri community of Ferguson has rattled people across the U.S. and the rest of the world. Which is why this clip shared by Antonio French, President of the North Campus organization, featuring Tibetan Monks from India standing in solidarity with Ferguson-area civilians at the protest of the killing of Mike Brown, goes a long way towards demonstrating how the power of peaceful assembly can indeed be something that can heal a community otherwise being torn asunder by an out-of-control police force.
